we are trying to move some animals urgently to somewhere as a temporary measure just for about 2 months. does anyone have an electric fencer they could lend us please. ALSO we need a small shed erecting and currently are short of materials and man power for this, can anyone volunteer to help us near to courbiac so we can install these animals with some shade just before they move on. wood panels are what is needed and they are minature shetlands so the wood panels for the shed dont need to be enormous. they can be dismantled and given back afterwards ?? any ideas and any volunteers please, we would really appreciate any help at all. Contact us. many thanks jan and gerrit hello everyone
two small gentle mules and a pony, all 3 female, who have been together all their lives will be slaughtered at the end of this week unless we can find them a home. these 3 are already at the butchers waiting, they belonged to a french lady who has handed them in, they are only 15 years old. i know we cant save all the animals going for meat but wonder if anyone could take them on or even just look after them temporarily until we can find them a home together. please ask all your friends, thanks. get in touch if you can help. jan lemmy We have managed to pass Rosalie onto a local horse charity (ASHA) who will school her and get her ready to go to a new riding home to start the rest of her active life. Although we miss her terribly it is the best solution for Rosalie as she is young and doesnt want to spend her days in retirement with the rest of our oldies here. We will continue to follow her progress with interest and as we collected her literally from the butchers yard we feel so happy to have saved her life.
Can you offer a permanent loving home to some of our animals here? We have Zebulon and Myrte - two lovely donkeys, both boys. They love a cuddle and are both easy to handle.
Also blanchette our pony who is blind in one eye, grey in colour and very friendly; she lives with Ninon our little girl mule who is friendly as well. We would like to home these animals in pairs as they are bonded, but if you have any room at all for just one donkey and should you have any questions about the animals we have available for rehoming please send us an email. |
