Just last Monday evening we collected 4 new donkeys.
There were 3 older mares who had been used for breeding and were passed to a dealer for him to take to the abbatoir, being past their prime age for breeding. They are very sweet; one is a little timid and donkey grey in colour with markings of a very prominent cross on their backs. Also we have taken in a very young little white donkey who absolutely loves people and being cuddled. He has spent a lot of time in his very short life with people and always comes forward. He is living at the moment with the 3 ladies. Would you like to support us with these 4 new donkeys and send any donation, however small, to help us feed and look after all these donkeys. We now have 27 living here and they eat lots and lots of hay ALL the time !! We also take in donations of clothes, books and bric a brac, in any condition for the clothes and books as we can get a salvage value for them if they arent quite good enough for resale. Please contact us, or better still come along to an open day and enjoy a lovely home made lunch.
